Don’t let working from home become a pain in the neck…or back. Teleworking may come with additional stress and strain from spending long periods of time at a makeshift home workstation. Apply these basic ergonomic principles to help you feel more comfortable and prevent future injuries no matter where you are working.
Neutral Working Position:
Shoulders relaxed
Back supported
Thighs horizontal and knees at 90 degrees
Feet flat on the floor or footrest
Wrists straight, hands at or below elbow level
Monitor at or just below eye level (prop up if necessary)
