Vision & Eye Health
GET AN ANNUAL EYE EXAM
Going to the eye doctor is just as important as going to your primary care practitioner or dentist. Eye exams at every age and life stage can help keep your vision as healthy as possible .
GIVE YOUR EYES A REST
Looking at a computer for a long time can tire out your eyes. Rest your eyes by following the 20-20-20 rule . Take a break every 20 minutes to look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Protect your eyes from the sun by wearing sunglasses whenever you're outside, even on cloudy days! When picking out sunglasses, find a pair that blocks 99-100% of both UVA and UVB radiation .
WEAR PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR
Safety glasses and goggles are designed to protect your eyes during activities like sports or home repairs. You can get them from most eye care providers and some sporting good stores.
