          Concerned about coverage? The Office of Group Insurance recommends that every person check with their insurance carrier regarding coverage of flu vaccinations prior to attending any flu clinics. For those members on the State’s group insurance program, flu vaccines are included in the Preventive Care benefit when administered by an In-Network pharmacist or provider at no co-pay for the vaccine to the individual. State employees and their dependents who have questions about prescription coverages or network pharmacy providers may contact Blue Cross of Idaho’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager, CVS Caremark Rx Customer Care at 855-839-5205 or Blue Cross Customer Service at the number on the back of the member ID card.

          Cardiac Risk (Cholesterol) Clinics

          • Cholesterol/Glucose Screening, Boise, (at Central District Health): $20, First Tuesday/monthly. Mountain Home: every 3 months. See the website for details.
          • Cardiac Risk Assessment/Blood Draw, Meridian, 11/17
            Clinic includes fasting cholesterol panel and glucose levels, cardiac risk profile, and discussion. $20; includes lab work. Blood draws end at 8:00 a.m. Pre-registration required. Clinics held every other month. Phone 208-381-9000 for 2016 clinic info and registration

        Skin Cancer Screenings

        Check with your Doctor anytime you have a suspicious area on your skin. Some local health fairs provide free skin cancer screenings. Some local dermatology clinics have free walk-in clinics. See the Skin Cancer Screening webpage.
